McShane Development Company facilitated the extensive redevelopment of the 11-story, 531,000-square-foot administrative and communications headquarters for Houston Community College System.

This office facility, located at the corner of Main and Elgin Streets in midtown Houston, Texas, was subsequently purchased by Houston Community College System for its administrative and communications headquarters. The assignment included the completion of a highly-sophisticated information technology department, computer data center, culinary arts department, an auditorium, public dining facilities, chancellor’s and administrative areas, classrooms and conference rooms, in addition to the construction of an attached eight-story parking garage complete with an elevated, enclosed pedestrian walkway.
