Development Manager Mike Fausone received Connect CRE’s 2022 Next Generation Award. The Next Generation Award honors rising stars for their accomplishments in the commercial real estate industry. As Development Manager, Mike oversees the firm’s development projects in the greater Chicago area and southeastern United States. He monitors economic and industry trends and identifies new ground-up and adaptive reuse development opportunities. Additionally, he leads the development team through all steps from land acquisition to entitlements, design, construction, lease-up and disposition.
In 2021, Mike led Conor’s successful exit from the 70-acre Huntington 90 Business Park (Hoffman Estates, IL) and the 265,550-square-foot North Avenue Commerce Center (in Winfield, IL). He also helped spearhead Conor’s entry into the Savannah, GA industrial market, with the acquisition and development of the $100-million, 1.2-million-square-foot Southeast Gateway, a speculative development.
