Molly McShane was named Woman of the Year by Illinois Real Estate Journal. In October 2020, Molly was promoted from Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive Officer of The McShane Companies, becoming the second CEO in company history and first female CEO. She now manages overall operations for three national companies and focuses on creating, planning, implementing and integrating its strategic direction to achieve operational excellence.

As a result of her strategic vision and leadership, The McShane Companies had a very successful year. In addition to working to grow the company, Molly worked to create an inclusive and family-oriented environment and increase employee satisfaction. Her success in this was reflected in the company’s inclusion on the 2020 Crain’s Chicago Business “Best Places to Work” list for the second year in a row. Her strong leadership remained a constant throughout the tumultuous year as the firm’s office employees across the country successfully transitioned to working remotely.
