John has more than 40 years of business experience serving in a variety of financial and general management roles. He spent 21 years at Skokie, Illinois-based Rand McNally & Company where he eventually served as the first non-family President of the firm.
During his tenure at Rand McNally, John was responsible for overall leadership, strategy, management development, cultural transformation, acquisitions and divestitures and operational excellence. He has also held positions at First Chicago Investment Corporation and Action for Boston Community Development. John is currently a director for numerous firms and is a Managing Partner of a Chicago residential real estate development business. He is an active civic participant as an advisory board member for BUILD, Inc. and a trustee for The North Shore Country Day School Foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Stanford University.
